IOS 8 is Good. But Something is still missing!

Finally IOS 8 is out. And it has brought many new cool features. I'm still testing and finding new hidden features on my iDevices.

Here we are not discussing anything about the new features. You might find it elsewhere in this blog.
But I want to write about one thing  that they could have done better. There might be many but, this was something I was expecting them to improve.

SIRI
The great SIRI still lacks it's vitality. When Apple brought SIRI first time, everyone was talking about it...every media was discussing about it. But it seems like they couldn't help SIRI much do things in a better way. While the "Google now" ( I haven't tried Cortana) is doing way ahead, why can't Apple improve SIRI?
The iOS 8 allows us to command SIRI without pressing the home button, by saying "Hey Siri",  but, only when it's connected to the power. WTF? Why can't they make Siri responds that way even it's not plugged in?  I don't understand Apple's point in this.
If your phone is a bit away from you and you wanna listen to some music, you could have just said " Hey Siri, Play some music". But may be they need another decade I guess, to think in that way.

Another thing, while connected to power, if you say " Hey Siri", it just responds "hi" and that's it. The conversation ends there. It doesnt listen what do you have to say to it. Again you have to say, "Hey Siri, play xxx song" to get something done. And again the conversation stops there. If she doesn't understand, she should be active to listen again. But you either have to say the key word again or press the home button to make her active again. This is a bug I feel. After replying "Hi" or "How can I help you" , it should listen , or it should be active , to receive our command. But no, it doesn't.
Hope Siri will do a better job with iOS 8.1.

My Brocken crystal pot

I have been holding a crystal pot...one of my precious ones. Was so fond of it. I took care of it always as I couldn't tolerate a single scratch or dirt on it.
But, one day, it just slipped off my hand and broke into pieces!
So did my heart!

Life is just beautiful!

This is one of the most beautiful pics I've ever seen. The beauty of the peeking light rays through the branches of trees and the combination of light and shades  is Hilarious. Hats off!!...to the guy who snapped this moment.

My Tunes!

Music....among all the art forms, I always feel , is the best one. The best gift we have ever got. In fact, I know nothing about it, technically. But, as everyone else does, I just love to hear it.

Music is a mood changer. For example, when we feel so depressed and low, we all have a tendency to listen to the music of same vibe, and that makes us more depressed. Insted, listen to something that's so jive and have a positive, energetic beats. You'll feel of course better. I recommend something like those:

Or you can try Yanni's.. These three are my favorites of Yanni. So cool enough to heal a wound in your mind.

I'm a fan of theme music/title music of movies. Some of them are master pieces and without those title music, you can't imagine those films. Consider Mission Impossible series, what else would suit it rather than this famous one?

But my most favorites

are these.

A.R and Johnson, what a great work they have
done with these theme songs? Can you imagine
these movies without these pieces? And If they haven' created this, can't imagine what we might
have lost!

Whenever I hear these, it takes me to a different state. I'm so addicted to these two. :)

And here another one..... It's not very recent but I happened to listen this so recently. This is 'Endless love' from the move 'The Myth". . I couldn't find an english version of this one. So I'm just showing you the Instrumental version of it. And I even think I would rather prefer the instrumental version, than the vocal. .

And before ending this, let me recommend you two movies as well which is based on music and romance.
One is 'Music and Lyrics' and the other one is 'Mozhi'. If you haven't watched them, try this time. Sure you'll love it.

Couldn't find M&L online.  :(

I know, you might be thinking, what my criteria was, on suggesting something from here and there. Honestly, no criteria. I just love those pieces of work and thought, I should just share. .But of-course, there's many more which I love to listen and won't get tired even I listen to those  100 times a day. But these are the ones that was in mind when I planned to blog about it. That's all.

So guys, , when you are alone, and planning to finish a bottle of beer, I suggest to try these pieces alongside. It will be great if there's a mild brizzle. The beer, music and the rain will  work together and bring up all the dead memories from the grave yard of your heart. haha...then RIP the rest of the day.

This film should be seen by the entire world.

Today I want to show you a  video which fucked my day up.  No..this is not what you think. Just watch it and feel what I've felt.  Doesn't need anymore words!

When don't they love you back?!

I  always wanted to write about this. But it's been kept postponing , may be 'coz I didn't know how to start with, or may be, I couldn't figure out, how to express what i exactly feel.

But one of my friends shot me a mail,  and, when I went through it, for my amusement, it was like looking into a mirror. That was what I wanted to write down. And if I start writing about it, it can't be s perfect as this one.

I would like to share it with you all. May be all of you ( most probably) might have gone through similar situations.

There’s a strange feeling that sometimes overcomes us when we’re reaching out to someone, this feeling of acute embarrassment. “Are we bothering them?” we ask ourselves, and almost wanting to apologize for even sending a message in the first place. It’s as though our very presence in their lives is a nuisance, and our efforts to connect as friends or lovers is one that only complicates things for them. We want to say, “I’m sorry that I want to talk to you, it’s weird and I should probably stop.”
The thing is, you can feel when you’re bothering someone. It’s not difficult to tell when you are the one who is always reaching out, always initiating contact, always starting the conversation. You realize in a way that is at once terribly humiliating and almost masochistically sweet that you are the one chasing after them. When they grant you with their reciprocity, with their attention — nothing feels better. But most times you are left sending a message that you immediately regret, because you know that it only puts one more tallymark in the “you need them, and not the other way around” column.
There are few things more painful than feeling like you’re constantly going out of your way for someone who is, at best, mildly amused by your affection. It’s hard to explain the feeling of disappointment exactly, but it’s mostly directed towards yourself. You can tell when you send them a good-morning text message, or mail them a gift, or take the time to do something for them that you know they’ll barely appreciate — this isn’t going to be reciprocated. This isn’t going to be really appreciated. Hell, it may not even be noticed. But you can’t stop yourself.
It’s just a sad, universal truth that there are people we love a lot who don’t really love us back. Whether platonic or romantic (or even, sadly enough, familial) there are always going to be these uneven relationships in which one person is constantly left feeling as though their emotions and their desires are a mild irritant. There are going to be friends we go out of our way for who never quite acknowledge us in return, who will never be there to listen to our problems, who will never drive out in the middle of the night to pick us up when we’re in trouble — no matter how much we do these things for them. And there are going to be lovers with whom we long to construct an entire relationship, but with whom we will always feel stuck at the frustrating “beginner phase” where no exchanges go beyond the superficial. It just happens.
The most difficult thing, it seems, is being able to admit when your love is going nowhere. Speaking personally, I have watched as more than one friendship proved themselves to be entirely one-sided, when my attempts to connect with the person (even in forums as non-committal as sending a Gchat), were proving increasingly pathetic. I was just way more into them than they were to me, and there is always a certain amount of pain in admitting that. You don’t want to confront this person and tell them, “Hey, look at all of these nice things I do and efforts I make for you, and you don’t do any of these things in return,” because it is a sad thing to do.
It’s sad because the truth is that they don’t owe you their friendship or their love. They don’t owe you the same kind of relationship you desire from them. You can’t insist, through repeated action, that someone is now indebted to you because you have proven that you are worth of something. We make the choice to keep giving our attention and love to someone who has clearly demonstrated that they don’t want it, and it is always their choice to make if they one day decide they want to start reciprocating.
But to break the cycle and force yourself to stop initiating contact, to stop making effort, and to stop caring about their response — that is much harder. That means admitting that you have lost a battle you didn’t even want to acknowledge you were fighting. But when we’re trying to get someone to love us back, it’s always a battle. And it’s one we’re almost always guaranteed to lose

Dreams unlimited!

When I first heard of blogging, there was a lot of excitement in my mind, as I thought I had a lot to write down that time. In fact , I just wanted to keep the events in my life and thoughts in my mind in a re- readable form, either in the form of a diary or blog. I started writing diary then, but soon I felt bored with it.  In the right moment , that is ,the moment I have an urge to write down, I may not have my diary with me. But later on when I pick my diary up, the moment and the so called urge might have gone.
In short , I could hardly finish 2 or 3 pages in my diary. Then I gave up on it. But I always felt like writing something down, never knowing what to write.

When I started my first blog, I just wanted it only as a private online diary. I wrote whatever came to my mind. One  of our poets has said , you only will feel like writing when you are broken, sad and damned..I was no exception. So the result was not a literature creativity  , but a bundle of full throttle negative thoughts. It was like drinking liquor. There's no nutritional value yet people drink it for a temporary pleasure. My posts were neither literatures nor inspiring , but as 'The monk who sold his Ferrari ' says , Every negative thought is a luxury. Once you start enjoying having negative thoughts , it's pretty hard to get rid of it . So I just stopped myself from shooting such rubbish posts.

I am on board now. Flying back to Dubai after enjoying a refreshing monsoon in Kerala. I have the current issue of 'The week' with me, and I'm just fascinated by an article about someone who have completed solo circumnavigation  of the globe. I'll try to give a detailed picture in my next issue. But his story gives a lot of inspiration. I used to dream of a journey, a long but casual one., without keeping much money in the pocket..without Pre planning much,..just go. .It's a dream which is , in fact , haunting me, like in the movie, 'before sunrise'. Of course , I don't want to be a solo wanderer. ...........................................................!

( You mind be thinking , what's so relevant about this movie scenes in this post. Nothing as such. I just loved it...Though it's a 1995 movie, happened to watch in 20132 only...so posting some clips from it. If you haven't watched it yet, if you love soft movies, I do recommend it...Those are some of the best scenes)

Though there's no dream  team like 'world eleven' in reality, in cricket ,ICC used to announce it every year right? So do I.

Okz......have a wonderful day. lets catch up later.
